great game awesome graphics and super control and function, can only say yes buy it

Very slow on my Mac Mini, so I won’t play it… i5, 4 GB ram

Ive been waiting for Bioshock 2 for a while, and it is every bit as good as the first on a Mac. The controls and settings are a little different, but with tweaking the gameplay is as easy as the first Bioshock. The story line is intriguing, creepy as you could ever expect from this series and definitely a great evolution from the first game. Well worth the price! Technical note: If you hike up the resolution to (1440 x 900) you may experience a little lagging for the first few minutes of play. Ive been playing for hours now and only once has it briefly glitched to show my desktop for a second. Im running a 2010 MBP, 2.4GHz Intel Core i5 with the NVIDIA Card 256MB.

Using a 1.6 Core2Duo with 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD. Smooth sailing so far through the Club Adonis and Atlantic Express levels with the graphics toned down to 1280x720. Hope all the DLC especially Minervas Den are converted and offered as well.

Just finished playing through Bioshock2 for the first time, and as the title says, its everything you love about Bioshock and more. New weapons, new plasmids and new enemies change things up a bit, but the fantastic graphics, storyline, voice talent and gameplay are still in place. Some interesting moral choices to be made along the way, and Im guessing how you choose to respond in each specific situation determines how the rest of the game plays out. This point lends itself well to the option of going back and re-playing the game with a different moral compass, which I plan on doing !!! The ending leaves itself open and sets up well for Bioshock3. I really hope thats the plan and it gets followed through, because this game is well worth the money, and it would be nice to see the series continue.

At the moment, Im getting a distortion on my screen with all sorts of different colours appearing everywhere. Brand new MBP, and it ran the first bioshock with absolutely no problems… Please help anybody.

The game runs perfect for me and is a great game but the multiplayer is dead other then that its flawless

please do a update to the game because the screen of my game is always with strange effect who was not supposed to be in the game

The screen keeps an image of what happened in a flash moment and then its hard to play. As well there are pixels on the screen like bright pink and circles and stuff (like playing a NES game and it freezes type). Not too happy with this problem. Running Mountain Lion 10.8.5. Was a big fan of the first one.

The game is good and for the most part plays smoothly but everyfirst time I wanna to take the train to go to the next level the game crashes. I got to remember to save right before taking it otherwise I have to start all over from last save. Very frustrating. When I start the game I also lose some of the control modifications.

I LOVED “Bioshock,” & I really want to love “Bioshock 2.” The gameplay is solid, the graphics & sound are excellent. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to delete it from my MBP because it crashes every time I try to play it. I’ll go out of Rapture, across the sea-bed & into the air-lock, at which point the game just quits. Extremely disappointed. If this problem were fixed, the game would get five stars easily; as it is, it’s just taking up a lot of disk space.

Bioshock 1 ran great on my Macbook Pro, however Bioshock 2 seems very buggy. Whenever I go across the sea floor near the beginning and into the airhatch, the game crashes. I would love to play this game, however until there is an update I cannot play it.

A great game with tons of detail and a creepy atmosphere. A game that will truelly make anyone freak out. It is a great game except 1. max resolution is 900p. Thats not excactly good. 2. tons of textures pop in in almost everthing. From far away or two feet away. In everything. 3. the sound is kinda not perfected sometimes things don’t sound quite as good as they should be. 4. this isn’t really a complaint but can you please add controller support.

This is a great game, and I have had none of the problems mentioned by other reviewers. It should be noted that if you are running Mavericks online multiplayer is not available, as it requires GameRanger which does not currently run on Mavericks.

So I bought this game after loving the first one and playing it many times over. i get to the second place and finished it and when I go to get on the train I pull the lever and the train starts moving, the loading screen for Paupers Place or something comes up and then it crashes every time. please make an update to fix this.

I was a HUGE fan of the first bioshock game, the atmosphere, the storyline, the music (espically the music, I got most of the songs on my iPod <3), the feels, and the plot twists, I loved it all, this I have a feeling will be even better, once I saw it was out, I dropped everything to get an itunes card to buy this. When I beat this, I will get infinite. I love this feral, please keep releasing awesome games for us! :D I promise to edit this when I play at least half way through the game to update on how smooth it runs, or anything at all. Love you feral! :D <3

The game is awsome and runs perfecty smooth on my 13” MBP. Supper happy that I got it during the 50% off sale. Though it would be great if u could bring back multiplayer can add DLCs. And also plzzzzzz add the ability to replay mission without losing your stuff or a new game + mode. I WILL REALLY appericate it!

works well on the 2014 base model macbook air, 4gigs ram, Intel HD500, 1.4 turbo 2.7 gighertz model. Gamepad config with ps3 controller could be better

By far one of the best games on the Mac !!!! PLEASE PLEASE release the 1.3 update and Minerva’s Den DLC.
